The AME WMS, or African Methodist Episcopal Women's Missionary Society, is an auxiliary organization of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church focused on missionary work, social justice, and community support both locally and globally. It was established to empower women within the AME Church to actively engage in missions and to support the spiritual, social, and economic well-being of communities. The WMS aims to spread the Gospel, advocate for social change, and provide services to those in need, such as educational programs, health care initiatives, and disaster relief.
